Frankly, I look at book giveaways as a mixed bag--both as an author and as a reader. Is the person hosting the giveaway fielding the books or merely acting as a host, introducing new authors to the world?
I prefer to think that the blogger hosting a giveaway read the featured book and felt compelled to share. Am I naive? What are your opinions? And better yet, what sites give away books you consistently enjoy?
I love the support indie authors have in the blogging community. It's remarkable and important, but in a sea of newbie author giveaways, it would be nice to have some reliable beacons.
